  Three strikes & your out. First time I ate here was 9 months ago & I had a steak which was delicious. Second time was average but I gave you onother chance. Last night you struck out dismally & we will never be back. A group of us went for my dad's birthday & he was the only one who enjoyed his meal thankfully. Drink service was very slow, you need a bigger bar & more staff. A few of us ordered steaks medium rare & what we got was medium well done & chewy steak. Scotch fillet should be melt in your mouth. The sauces were all mixed up & they forgot my garlic prawn toppers, so my steak went cold whilst waiting. Onother at our table ordered crumbed lamb chops which were all crumbing & fatty meat hidden inside that smelt & tasted disgusting. What a waste of hard earned $$$ People do yourselves a favour & go for a meal at the Spencer or the Eyre. The meals are cheaper & tastier. Mirambeena is overrated. Rant over.

  I honestly don't know what the fuss is about with this restaurant. I've been there twice and was most disappointed. I assumed Mirambeena was supposed to be a "high-end" restaurant. Well the decor is lovely except for the life size Elvis statue. (tacky) The salad and vegetable bar is adequate but that's about it. I ordered steak medium-rare and it came out well done so it was dry and stringy; the prawns on top were also over-cooked and had shrunk to hard bullets.....not worth the $40. A cup of coffee will be brought to you in a white mug covered in black finger-print marks (obviously the barista had been reading the Whyalla News prior) There isn't even a serviette or saucer, so the teaspoon will be plonked on the table next to your coffee. I gave you another chance Mirambeena, but that's it, no more! Disappointed...

  Such a good place to stay, the staff is so friendly and they will look after you, the food is really nice. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy. Highly recommend

  Great meals, beautiful view, wonderful management and staff who are friendly and accommodating. Great dining experience.
